Recent events with a dear friend of mine has made me think about the way our lives are so interconneted. Both of us have gone through the same milestones over the past ten years, experienced the same cross roads, made the similiar decisions, chanced upon the same opportunities.... this has been going on for a good decade. Surely there must be some meaning to this. What I have just said is just so uncanny. Last week he was offered a regional role at his workplace, this week my jobscope changed to that of a regional nature (thats just a simple example of what I was talking about.)
The freaky part goes on to our personal preferences, the way we dress is identical, the food we like, the kind of company we enjoy. You want more freaky stuff? Both birthdays within the same month, our parents birthdays on the same day, identical scars on our bodies from childhood days, similiar birth marks.
Can any of this be explained? It doesn't matter, he's been a fantastic buddy all these years and thats all that matters.
